Barnsley were gifted the Doncaster League Championship the previous night when Barnby Dun and Dons drew their match. In the last match of the Doncaster League Barnsley won 4-1 losing the top board but winning the four remaining boards. Credit must be given to Richard Hall for managing the Barnsley team and to all the players who contributed to becoming Doncaster League Champions for 2023/24.
