Barnsley B proved too strong for Ecclesall C with five wins and a draw to secure a 0.5-5.5 away win.

A weakened Barnsley side lost 3-7 to a powerful Barnby Dun team being heavily outgraded on all boards. Barnsley scored a win and a loss in three match ups over two games. Two of these match ups involved two new players making league debuts for the club.  The other two match ups were lost 2-0

Although outgraded on all boards Barnsley A managed a close 2.5-3.5 away win against Nomads B with two wins, one defeat and two draws.

A strong Barnsley side drew on the top board and won the remaining four boards to earn a 4.5-0.5 home win against Three Horseshoes. Barnsley have now scored 3/3 wins in the Doncaster League this season.

A strong Barnsley team overpowered a weakened Three Horseshoes side in a 1.5-8.5 away win. From the ten games played Barnsley won eight games and drew one with one loss!

Three wins on the first three boards secured Barnsley C a 1-3 away win against Woodseats D. Barnsley C are top of the division 4 table with 5/6 wins.

Two wins on the bottom boards helped Woodseats B to gain a narrow 3.5-2.5 home victory over Barnsley B.

Barnsley C lost their first match of the season 1.5-2.5 against Sasca C who scored a single win with the three other games being drawn.

In a tight match with three wins by either side Barnsley B and Sheffield University B shared the points in a 3-3 draw.

Two wins on the bottom boards brought Barnsley A their first win of the season in a close match giving them a 2.5-3.5 away win over Worksop B
