Two wins on the top and bottom boards against the Dons gave Barnsley a second 2-3 away win of the season. Barnsley are joint leaders with Three Horseshoes after two fixtures.

Wins on the two bottom boards ensured a close 1.5-2.5 away win against Ravenfield. Barnsley C have now won all their first four opening fixtures leaving them top of the league four table!

Barnsley Gained a narrow 6-4 home victory against Dons in their first rapidplay match of the season.

Barnsley drew 3-3 in the Richardson Cup but lost on board count in a tense struggle. After this Barnsley will play in the Sheffield Plate.

Despite losing the top and bottom boards Barnsley C managed to win the three middle boards to earn a 2-3 away victory over Sheffield Deaf giving them three wins from three matches.

In a close match Nomads C won the last game to finish to take the match 3.5-2.5, winning three games to two with one draw.

Two wins on the top two boards awarded Barnsley with a 2-3 away win against Barnby Dun in a close encounter.

Four wins on the bottom boards gave Ecclesall B a 4.5-1.5 home win. A disappointing start to the season.  

Barnsley C secured a convincing 1.5-4.5 away victory against Darnall C mainly by winning the top four boards.

A strong performance by Barnsley C earned them a 1-3 win away to Chesterfield C with two wins and two draws, providing them with a good start to the season
